Appearance:has long straight red hair,wears the traditional flak chuunin jacket with a long sleeved fishnet shirt underneath he also wears ninja pants and a pair of sandals. his iwagakure headband is placed on his forearm. he has both of his ears pierced with black studs.also his left ear having an industrial piercing.

- when he was born his mother died due to complications. his dad feared he would die and not be there for his son due to him being a shinobi,he retired and watched after his son within the clan. As Katsumi got olderhe began to resent his dad for giving up on his responsibilities as a shinobi. Not going to make the same mistakes as his father he trained to join in protecting his clan.When iwagakure was formed it gave a better protection for his beloved clan. Due to this he gained so much admiration for the tsuchikage he grew to have a tsuchikage complex
