Explain how the trait if it is automatically obtained or obtained over time: the trait is obtained at birth. usually those who have this ability mother has died during birth.meaning they were born from a c-section but once they take their first look into the world their left eye is yellow while their right eye is red, eventually it fades away.

Describe what it does and who can use it: only the toshiko clan can use it. It allows the user to see infared radiation of objects therefore  being able to find an opponent hiding.also the eye can distinguish between two peoples heat signatures, but it would had to seen the heat signature before.

General weakness: cold climates can lower the infared radiation being emitted but now distinguish it.
